Questions
- Why did my PDF get bigger?
- It was already well compressed, so re-encoding added overhead without saving anything. If the result is larger, keep your original. The size is shown so you can tell.
- Will the text still be selectable?
- Yes. Text stays as text; only images are re-encoded.
- Which setting should I use?
- Email for anything going to a person, Screen for something only ever read on a phone, Print if it will actually be printed.
